Bathroom Safety Aids
Home bathrooms often need adaptation if an elderly person wants to stay at home and remain independent. Ensuring bathroom access and safety may require room adaptations. We can provide several products to adapt your bathroom to prevent falls.
BATH – Falls often occur as people get in or out of the tub. Non-slip suction mats or rubber silicone appliqués in the tub will help prevent falls. A non-skid, latex-coated bath mat on the floor beside the tub provides firm footing. Various types of safety bars may be installed. Grab bars around the bathtub are a necessity for safety. These bars should be institutional-grade, stainless steel and installed according to the manufacturer’s directions for firm, solid support. Two types of bars are needed at the tub for an ambulant older person. One for getting in and out of the tub and one for lowering or raising the body to or from a seated position in the tub.
TUB SEATS – We offer a variety of portable benches, chairs, and transfer benches that sit inside and outside the tub. In addition to these seats, we also provide a flexible hand held shower arm since this is a necessity to direct the water where it is needed.
SHOWERS – We offer angle bars to aid in balance and stability in the shower.
TOILETS – Often persons with arthritis, hip, knee or back problems can benefit from an elevated toilet seat. We offer different types of removable and permanently fixed raised toilet seats. Grab bars are also installed around the toilet for added safety. We provide choices of wall mounted or free standing types.
We also offer male and female urinals, bed pans, and sitz baths.
Incontinence, Wound Care & Orthotics
INCONTINENCE – We offer products that are designed for stress and urge incontinence as well as full coverage adult diapers.
Adult underwear designed for men and women featuring a form fitting shape, concentrated protection, odor control, and a discreet fit.

OSTOMY PRODUCTS – We provide ostomy pouches, wafers, skin prep wipes and solutions.
ORTHOTICS/BRACES – We carry a full line of ankle, knee, wrist, back and neck braces. We also offer night splints for carpel tunnel syndrome, arm slings, thumb splints, and hernia aids. We offer a full line of support stockings and socks.

Diabetic Supplies
25.8 million children and adults in the United States — 8.3% of the population — have diabetes. Many diabetics who do not control their blood sugar levels have complications such as heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, blindness, kidney disease, nervous system damage, and amputation.
Our pharmacy has a plan to help you with your diabetes. We call them the ABCs
A = Know your A1C. Know your goal is to be below 6.5. We will help you learn how to test smart with your glucose monitor.
B = Know your blood pressure. Know your goal should be below 130/80. We will check your blood pressure and train you to accurately check it at home so you can show your physician a log. With records, your medication can be adjusted to reach and maintain your goal.
C = Cholesterol – know your goals to keep your LDL below 100, your triglycerides below 150, and your HDL above 45 for men and above 55 for women.
We sell glucose monitors that allow you to monitor your blood sugar simply and accurately anytime and anywhere.
